Lake News - December
Hello Neighbors!!
If you are not in the area this time of year... you're missing our first real snow! The weather people tell us it should be 5 - 10 inches. Mt. Sunapee opens on Friday...Yahoo!!!
Shirley has been as busy as the darn beavers who have been taking down a lot of trees on the southern end of the lake. The first two items below come from her. Thank you Shirley for all of your ongoing efforts and congrats to the whole community for the LakeSmart participation... amazing!
1) Crystal Lake Apparel for Holiday Giving
It is not too late to give Crystal Lake apparel. I am well stocked with many items. If you are not on the lake during the winter, I will be happy to mail apparel to you or directly to the person who will be receiving your gift. (see contact info below)
2) LakeSmart - Summer 2025 on Crystal Lake
I am so happy to announce the statistics for participation in the LakeSmart Program on Crystal Lake during the summer of 2025.
34 properties received LakeSmart Property Tours
11 properties are in progress towards their individual LakeSmart Awards
23 properties earned their Lake Smart Award
This is VERY impressive as NH LAKES gave out a record 100 LakeSmart Awards statewide in 2025 and 23 of those awards were given to Crystal Lake residents!!!
I am compiling a list now for our first LakeSmart Property Tour in 2026. I hope Crystal Lake will receive even more awards in 2026! Please let me know if you would like to be added to the list.
3) Save the Date! We are in the planning stages of a Crystal Lake night at the Dartmouth vs. St Lawrence men's hockey game on Saturday January 17th at 7pm in Hanover. More to come...
